Headley Clay Pigeon Shooting Club

Hi my name is Phil and together with my dedicated team of family and friends, we run Headley Clay Pigeon Shooting Club.

We have been around for a long time improving our ground year on year to give our members and visitors the best experience we possibly we can. Everybody’s safety is paramount at all times of course, but we like to have fun so you can expect a friendly smile on arrival and maybe even an innocent but welcoming hug when this Covid nightmare is over

We meet alternate Saturdays in the stunning surroundings of a secluded pine wood on the North Downs at Headley near Box Hill. We are very lucky to have a healthy and supportive membership who continuously vote us ‘Best Shooting Ground’ and we win the awards regularly!

The Spitfire Canteen run by Jackie is always open, offering complementary refreshments throughout your day including bacon rolls for breakfast and burgers or sausages in a bun at lunchtime. Our on-site shop carries a range of shooting essentials and cartridges; gun hire is also available on request, a large range is available suitable for all including youngsters and ladies.

We have 10 great sporting stands with varying targets; some to challenge even the most experienced shooter, the 10 stands to be shot over 60 or 100 targets, your choice. Down the Line and Compak sporting are also available, in addition to the facilities in our Shooting School. We vary our targets across all our stands from time to time to keep you guys and girls entertained and challenged.

If you found us here on the Shoutpull website you are likely to be new to shooting or are considering taking it up as a sport in which case we can offer you either an Essential Basic Training course which includes gun handling, safety, etiquette, gun hire and 25 shots in our Shooting School, or advanced basic training if you have shot before, all with our team of qualified CPSA instructors lead by Alan. Help, guidance and friendly advice on every aspect of the sport is always freely available from our helpful team and our members at anytime.

If you are a member and shotgun license holder or have completed our Essential Basic Tuition course and maybe want to concentrate improving your skills, we have advanced coaching available too.
